In this job, I chiseled out all the old crumbling concrete wall at the front entrance of an 1800’s double home. This was a section of wall approximately 3 1/2 feet high by 14 feet long.
I had to chisel out the loose debris, then pressure washed the entire section. I epoxied in pieces of rebar all over the wall and wired in a steel cage to fit tight to the wall. Lastly, I built a cement form and rebuilt the wall section with concrete as you see in the photo.
The homeowner didn’t understand what the outcome was going to be when I told him what I was going to do.
